Hi, I'm Tracy Ryan
For more than 20 years, photography has been my passion. Based in Albany, Western Australia, I've spent those years exploring and capturing the breathtaking landscapes of this extraordinary country, from the rugged coastlines of the Great Southern to the wide open spaces of the Australian interior.
It hasn't always been an easy journey. There have been times when I wondered whether I could keep going, particularly during the occasional "starving artist" phase when the money simply wasn't coming in. But photography is what I love, and I've never stopped believing in it.
A 30-Year Dream, Finally Realised
Nearly 30 years ago, I saw a photographer's image on a jigsaw puzzle and thought, "One day, I'm going to do that."
Then, about six months ago, someone contacted me after recognising my watermark on one of my photographs being used without my permission on a generic jigsaw app. It brought that 30-year-old dream right back to the front of my mind and this time, I decided to act on it.
That moment became the catalyst for Tracy Ryan Photography: a place where my images are shared on my terms, as high-quality jigsaw puzzles and prints that celebrate the beauty of Australia.
